Sadly, we have to inform you that Mike passed away unexpectedly over the weekend.
Mike actively supported the EAC and GARS right from the beginning. Mike thought that the EAC and GARS play a crucial role in organizing the dialogue between theory and practice. He was a great inspiration to many of us. We were always looking forward to his presentations, and every conversation with him brought new insights. He was good company and the aviation research community will feel his loss deeply.
